The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has been notified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of a voluntary recall of Sonic-Fusion flossing toothbrush by Water Pik Inc. Fort Collins, USA because of possible overheating of its charging base with the localized melting and sparking, possibly causing fire, shock or burns.
This recall is applicable only to Sonic-Fusion products. All other Waterpik brands flowers and toothbrushes are not affected.
Details of the recalled models are:

Members of the public, distributors and Retailer in possession of these products are advised to immediately stop their use and sale and submit them to the nearest NAFDAC office for appropriate Action.
Adverse event following the use of these products should be reported to NAFDAC via PRASCOR (20543 TOLL FREE from all networks) or via pharmacovigilance@nafdac.gov.ng.
