The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC)has received safety information from European Rapid Alert System for dangerous non- food products that a cosmetic product; Professional Mouse Pro-Vitamin B5 manufactured by United Kingdom Studio 2000 system has been banned.
The product contains butylphenyl methylpropional (BMHCA), which is forbidden in cosmetic products. BHMCA may harm the reproductive system, the health of the unborn child and may cause skin sensitization
