The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) hereby warns the general public against the use of Ngul Be Tara range of Products (Powder, Capsules, and Concentrated liquid) for the treatment of any illness. None of the products are approved by NAFDAC.

The manufacturer of Ngul Be Tara range of products, Ndi-Samba University Yaounde, Cameroon have been making a false claim regarding a certificate of approval from NAFDAC on social media for treatment of covid-19.

NAFDAC warns importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and the general public not to patronize these unauthorized products.

Healthcare providers and other members of the public are to contact the nearest NAFDAC office with any information on distribution and sale of Ngul Be Tara range of products.

Health professionals and patients are encouraged to report adverse events or quality problems experienced with the use of medicines to the nearest NAFDAC office, NAFDAC PRASCOR or via pharmacovigilance@nafdac.gov.ng or via e-Reporting platform available on the NAFDAC website www.nafdac.gov.ng or via Med Safety Application available for download on Android and IOS stores.
