Advertisement of vacant positions, shortlisting of qualified candidates, conduct of aptitude test/oral interview, selection of successful candidates, issuing of letters of offer to successful candidates, onboarding and deployment.

Succession is seniority based and in tandem with the provisions of the Public Service Rules (PSR).

What are the entry qualifications and positions?
Entry qualifications are based on the professional cadre one is aspiring to be engaged in e.g. applicants who possess qualifications in the Natural Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Arts Social Sciences and Advanced or ordinary level School Certificates.
What is the entry age for junior and senior cadre?
To be appointed into the Nigerian Public Service, one should not be less than 18 and not above 50 years of age.
