FCT Office is a Special Office that exists at the level of Zonal Office in NAFDAC organogram.  The office is a mini NAFDAC purposely meant to serve FCT-Abuja. The office consists of Inspecting Divisions for activities relating to the following Directorates – Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (FSAN), Drug Evaluation & Research (DER), Veterinary Medicine & Allied Products (VMAP), Chemical Evaluation & Researcher. In addition to Inspection activities, the other core function of the FCT Abuja office is to carry out by Registration Division for decentralized Nano, Micro and Small enterprise’s products registration (Some Food and Cosmetic products for zonal level NAPAMS platform end to end registration). The non-technical units include Finance and Account and Administration & Human Resource Management. The renewal of Packaged Water (Sachet and Bottle) is also carried out at FCT –Abuja Office.

FCT- Abuja is an ease of doing business friendly office and bend over to provide an assisted NAPAMS platform operation to our nano, micro and small enterprises which has led to seamless end to end registration process.

The Agency has academic collaboration with Federal university of Agriculture, Minna and FCT has some beneficiary staff members with interest in mycotoxin and unpermitted sweeteners in bread with the prospect for publication.
