The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), in collaboration with the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC), announces new dates for the NAFDAC Mandatory Stakeholders Training on Clinical Trial Regulations in Nigeria. The training was earlier postponed from its originally announced maiden date; it will now hold from Monday, 5th October to Friday, 9th October 2026.

The training forms part of NAFDAC’s and NHREC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening regulatory compliance, ethical conduct and quality systems in the implementation of clinical trials in Nigeria. It is designed to build the capacity of investigators and other clinical research stakeholders in line with international best practice and national regulatory requirements.

Certification
Participants who successfully complete the training will be issued certification to participate in clinical research. This certification forms part of NAFDAC’s regulatory requirements for the implementation of clinical trials by investigators in Nigeria.
