NAFDAC has carried out a holistic review and assessment of the capacity of Clean Report of Insepction and Analysis (CRIA) Agents to conduct pre-shipment inspection and analysis of all NAFDAC regulated products exported from China and India into Nigeria. This is to improve the regulatory activities of the Agency with the aim of safeguarding the health of the nation.
Importers of all NAFDAC regulated products from China and India are advised to solicit for CRIA services from any of the accredited Agents listed below prior to the shipment of their consignments. NAFDAC frowns at importation of any of its regulated products from China and India without pre-shipment inspection and analysis at the country of origin. Importers are to note that pre-shipment inspection services received from any other Agent apart from those accredited by NAFDAC will not be honoured.
Also note that the services of Analytical Control Services (Pvt) Limited, Plot No 73 Raja, Industrial Estate, Mulund, Mumbai, India has been suspended. As such CRIA certification from ACS (Pvt) Limited would not be accepted during clearance of NAFDAC regulated products at the Sea Ports, Airports and Land borders.
