Bitrus Fraden is a graduate of Pharmacy from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in Kaduna State, Nigeria (1991). He is a holder of an MBA(Administration) from the Federal University of Technology, Yola, Adamawa state (2007) and a Master of Arts in Peace and Security from the University of Ilorin- 2016. Furthermore, he is a fellow of the Institute of Security Studies, Bwari, Abuja (2015).
His work experience spans working in the Hospital system, Community pharmacy practice, and the Regulatory system (a seasoned investigator/Enforcer/ Inspector of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and good Storage and Distribution Practices (GDP) for pharmaceutical products.
Also, over the years he rose through the ranks to become a director holding various positions such as State Coordinator in Adamawa and Kebbi States, Head of Cosmetics and Medical Devices in the Investigation and Enforcement Directorate, Head of Pharmacovigilance and Post-marketing surveillance, in Lagos, Ag. Director of Pharmacovigilance and Post-marketing Surveillance Directorate, NAFDAC Corporate Headquarters Abuja, and currently the Director of Post-Marketing Surveillance, NAFDAC Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.
In the course of the job, he has traveled widely within the country, Africa, Europe, southern America, the Middle East, and Asia.
